Quick sketch with some slapdash colour, made a bad mistake and watched the expendables, and curse my eyes for seeing the suit of veins that mr stallone wears in that.

Warming up is hard to do!

some random warmups-i like to draw for an hour, sometimes even a half hour-just scribbling or messing about before i start any real work-helps to loosen up before you do the important stuff

back to square one

well finally back at life drawing again-gotten oh so rusty. Here are my very first sketches back-usually a minute pose to begin-i went 30 seconds on these to see if i could get down the essence of the pose as quicky as possible. Hopefully i get back into the swing of things more next week.

always felt that robocop in that helmet must go about his business with a squished nose all day, no wonder he is shooting everyone-that kind of fashion choice just hurts.
