no need for umbrellas

wee drawing i came across while going through some old sketchbook pages-gave him a clean line.
Sadly he has no need of an umbrella here in los angeles as water is a myth-yes LA is reverse Waterworld.

blast from the past

cleaning up some old drives and came across this from i think 2001-was a cover for a comic that went nowhere-i had never heard of jhonen vasquez so it was a shock when i was told i was just aping his look so this went to the bin-probably a very good thing haha.

Secondary characters

A lot of times i don't get the chance to show what i have been working on since someone else owns it but found some rejected characters from a few projects.
This was just an excuse for me to draw hitler as a director. Apparently it was "too soon" for the show.
Never made it past the first rough but was fun, also evil spielberg.

After doing that poster i had a ton of ideas and sketches left over. Thought i would stick them up to see what people thought. These are just scribbles when i am trying to figure out what i want to do for the piece, and for a while this was going to be done as a vhs cassette cover till i got far too into drawing monsters.
